The SUNY ESF Alumni Association is proud to support students through the Student Alumni Partnership, a program developed with the Mighty Oaks Student Assembly to enhance your academic journey and future career.
With this partnership, you’ll gain access to:
- Career networking events by department
- One-on-one connections with alumni in your field
- Virtual career panels highlighting diverse professional paths
- Alumni Student Grants and club funding opportunities
This is made possible through a $20 per semester fee for full-time undergraduates ($1.67/credit hour for part-time students). The fee allows the Office of Alumni Relations to expand programming focused on recruitment, retention, and alumni-student engagement.
Best of all, it’s a lifetime benefit. Your contribution supports your experience now and continues after graduation through automatic Alumni Association membership, exclusive events like Homecoming and Reunion, and national networking opportunities.
You actually don’t have to; the fee is — and always will be — refundable because we don’t want it to be a burden to students. If you’d like to opt out, please email the Office of Alumni Relations at alumni@esf.edu. This must be done each semester.
Requests must be received by September 30th for the fall semester and February 28th for the spring semester.
You will be notified by email when your refund is credited to your account.
For many of our programs, the answer is "yes." However, some programs will have limited capacity. In fairness to students who choose to pay the fee, we will give them priority.
