Five Smart Ways to Easily Be Green at ESF
There are endless ways for students to contribute to sustainability at ESF. Our students drive sustainable change on campus through engagement, innovation, and action.
Here are five quick and easy suggestions to get you started:
- Take the ESF Sustainability Pledge. Sustainability is central to ESF’s mission. By taking the pledge, you can better understand and participate in numerous avenues for change. The pledge helps define energy-conscious steps to help increase energy efficiency and energy consumption.
- Join a sustainably-focused club and engage in “sustainability exchanges” to help build community around best practices.
- Learn how to enact sustainable dorm living.
- Lug your mug, carry your own utensils, and check out the reusable plate program for events.
- Ask questions: it’s not always clear how to practice a sustainable life, so connect with the Office of Sustainability in many ways here.
