Women's Soccer Team Tops BCC
Mighty Oaks ranked second nationally in USCAA
The ESF women's soccer team used tremendous possession and speed to top he nationally ranked Broome Community College Hornets 2-0 Oct. 19.
ESF was lead by early goals from freshman Makayla McCormick (assisted by Heather Carl) and senior Bridget Cuddihy. It was Cuddihy's 15th goal of the season.
Sophomore goalkeeper Kiki Hilmer recorded yet another shutout. Hilmer is ranked number one nationally in the USCAA in save percentage (.878).
The women's soccer team improves to 10-1 and is ranked second nationally in the USCAA National Coaches Poll. The team's last regular season game is Oct. 25 versus SUNY Canton.
