Women's Soccer Defeats Albany Pharmacy 1-0
ESF sophomore Heather Carl's rocket shot from 30 yards away early in the game at the 14th minute mark sealed a 1-0 win for the Mighty Oaks women's soccer team as well as its first-ever win against Albany Pharmacy in the three-year history of the matchup.
Goal keeper Kiki Hilmer continued her phenomenal play in the net with another shutout. The women's soccer team went 2-0 this weekend after playing back-to-back games Sept. 13-14.
The women's soccer team enjoys a well-deserved week of rest and take the field again Sept. 21 against Bryant & Stratton-Syracuse.
